Well a herd of them thundered into the ground. Perhaps in today's world they may consider a change but may not in 1970.

I know they moved from New Orleans, but the Utah Jazz always seem funny to me. They should have renamed them the Utah Stars
(Old ABA team name) and given Jazz back to New Orleans.

Can't imagine too many jazz musicians coming from Salt Lake City.

Im an Erie Seawolves man for AA.

First off, wolves don't live at sea. Apparently they're pirate wolves.
Secondly, Erie is on the banks of Lake Erie, not the sea.

I like the Erie Otters in Minor League Hockey. Their name makes a bit more sense.

They are a private enity with over 70 years history so no it should not be changed!!!

I heard this on Melbourne radio. During an interview with Clayton Oliver from Melbourne, he mentioned that he played against the Congupna footy team. Bill Brownless said "the roads?". Yep, they are the roads. Their guernsey is a sash design with a road on it!
