Does anyone know how to open an MS word document that has a password attached.
Does anyone know of any free software that will crack it?
I know there is software you can purchase which does the job but I was hoping there was some free software out there or even another means of doing this?
Any help appreciated.

Nothing much......I've just done a few burglaries lately and need to open some laptops and documents.
Nah I password protected my resume 10 years ago and was just sorting through some stuff and have realised I can't open it.

Should be able to enter a VB code to unlock the document.

Tried that but no go.
I actually used free software that cracks the code....... but it only shows you the first 3 letters unless you purchase the software.
Once it gave me the first 3 letters I guessed it from there.
Finally got it open.

Great. Reconstructing it would be a lot of work.
