I would disagree with Shorten , Plibersek , Wong and Albenese these guys are miles ahead of your Turnbull , Dudd Dutton or flip flop and flip again Corman.

Its a question you could pose to alot of Liberals at the moment. All the bitcheing and moaning about Labor and the Greens and it almost seems they are the opposition rather than the government.

My God, Christopher Pyne speaking some sense on the ******* absurd idea of pillaging superannuation for housing deposits:

“There is no evidence to suggest that if superannuation was to be used for housing that that would somehow bring prices down,” the defence industry minister told the ABC.

“There is evidence on the other side of the ledger that suggests that all that would happen was that house prices would continue to go up and the person selling the house would take that person’s super as increased house prices.

“These people who want to have these debates in public, they need to understand they are better held behind closed doors.”

Why do people think it's s right for everyone to buy a house? It's just a fact of life that people won't be able to afford some things.

That's not the argument. The argument is that tax loopholes create an investor climate that reduces housing affordability.

Yep I've owned a house since I was 22. But it was a modest house an hour away from the city. Even now I would struggle to afford something closer. And I don't expect to be able to.
