Re: Round 18
A great day at the footy.
A great send off to Schmidt and Caire. Two outstanding players for our football club.
Farewell to Rubbers, he bows out as a Premiership Coach.

Their scores come from exactly the same place the SANFL website and app's scores do.

Re: Round 18
Great win by the Panthers down at Hickinbotham Oval...sadly ..all to no avail.. Came from 14 pts down at 3/4 time to get the Chocolates against the breeze. Best for South were Cross, Liddle and Haines.
Well done to the South players and officials and supporters who applauded retiring Crow Scott Thompson from the field.
I have to say what a lame effort ,with perhaps only 100 of the 60,000 members of the AFC bothering to show up to farewell one of their clubs greats.

Simply no excuse for those plastic AwFL supporters today....good weather, the 1's playing interstate and on a different day. Can't be ****** showing up when they get in for free....get rid of them!

The AFL team has 2 home finals coming up still plenty of time to stay farewell.

Re: Round 18
Sturt drew its final game of the minor round.
Same thing happened last year.
An omen, perhaps?
Hey @spell_check , when was the last time a team drew its final game in two consecutive years?

Re: Round 18
Eagles play like that in the finals, they will be out in straight sets. Poor decision making, poor skill execution and poor game plan today. Well played CD, more efficient and more desire. The side going into the finals with the worst form line is the Eagles. Godden has 2 weeks to sort out the issues or disappointment looms again.
Having said that, at the start of the season, most pundits predicted the Eags to miss the finals or be around fifth with the loss of 6 quality, experienced players so maybe they have performed better than expected and only now are starting to be exposed for the lack of depth in the club.
Godden is top coach so I expect him to extract the best out of the team and hopefully it is enough to go all the way.

Good win but soured by no finals action for 2017. Too many missed opportunities throughout the year.
I am not a Crows supporter but was actually embarrassed with the lack of support from their supporters to say goodbye. The South side formed a guard of honor to clap him off. I counted a handful of Crows supporters (10 at best) stand near the race. Poor bugger. Bet the Crows club did not even promote his send off either.
He got a good send off by the South team and supporters.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

You can't see the SANFL app, it crashed at the start and never got back up.
