Ah, not quite, left on his own accord after winning the reserves Magarey in 08, played country in 09, then recruited by Godden in 2010 when he took the Eagles job after signing with Southern Districts as Coach in the NTFL with work at the NT Thunder lined up

Word on the streets is that there will be some coaching changes at Port announced shortly. Whether that affects the coaching structure at Brighton Rd, well time will tell.

Bottom line, he won't be sacked by the Bays.

My mail is that his contract had a "finals clause" whereby 2018 would only be triggered if we played finals. As it stands he is not contracted for next year but can re-apply, but is in negotiations with Port to be an assistant of some description. Lokan has asked for a 3 year deal with Port which they are baulking at.

To be fair, Glenelg has proven a good recruiting club for players they don't think are any good and we turn into State player.

Tin foil hat time again, so the Bays only had to draw one of their last two games against the bottom two teams to trigger the contract extension and managed to lose both. And the coach never wanted to really coach the team the next year anyway?
