Bailey continued his good form with a 40 odd also. We started real well at 0/48. But the ever reliable Hanson and Marks came on and bogged us down and we lost 5/20 or so and just crumbled.
Pooraka seem to have secured a couple of huge names for the T20 comp. Their A1 and A2 side will be difficult to beat!

what names we talking here
The likely names are: Cosgrove, Cooper Thompson, Kirk and Trent Pascoe, Joe Gatting, C McInerney (WDCC)

I'm not going to say too much until it's all sorted out. Once the powers that be sort through it I will be more than happy to shed light on the subject.
Flinders Park were batting when game was abandoned, so you're saying a Para Hills player had a crack at the Flinders Park umpire.
Until all the reports are in and decisions made I'm not going to say anything. Trust me, I'd love to have my say as a witness to it all but it's not going to help the current situation. Once it's all sorted I'm more than happy to document exactly what went on.
I'm hearing PH have claimed a run out when the ball was clearly dead. Several (not all) PH players refused to continue playing if batsman didn't depart (which he didn't) so they took their bat and ball and went home. Bloody disgraceful if that version of events is close to the mark. Too many blokes running around the LO grades that play for sheep stations and if things don't go their way they carry on like sooks.
Interestingly Flinders Park have entered the scores as match abandoned, not a forfeit from Para Hills. Does that suggest they are admitting some guilt and trying to sneak away with 5 points?
If the opposition walked off the field mid-game and my team had done nothing wrong, I'd be entering forfeit, not abandoned.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

I've seen plenty of that!
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

maybe they are putting it down this way until it is resolved with ATCA

Would be a fair line up if they could secure 4 of these players over the two teams, would assume that Thompson and McInerny would be playing together?!?
Must have been the week for it. Hearing that in C2 there was a punch on after the game when a Port Districts player refused to shake one of the Brighton players hand.

Sounds like everyone's ready for the test match break!
This is Tony Clifton! A name to respect! A name to fear!
Handy in for PAC - Greg Carmody. Has been playing/living in Port Pirie for a few years. Wonder if he's back permanently? Very good off spinner and solid batsman.

Gaza LO 2 game wasn't played in the greatest spirit. Threats made blah blah blah. Its fuggin cricket and it tests you. Punching on is bullshit! Accept the decision and move on. Some idiots have no faith in the cricket gods!
