Southern Comfort is making a comeback I see, all the lads at the footy club were into them last Sat night.
Captain Morgan seems to be the drink of choice for the younger ones around here once theyve had enough Red Tins Im havent strayed from the Bundy in 25 years

Bundy cans?
I don't mind a bourbon but geez the Wild Turkey cans can melt your throat hairs.

didn't mind the ouzo back in the day.
Don’t mind wild turkey. Sometimes get a 6 pack of the 6.5% wild turkeys to watch Friday night footy if Home.
That’s enough to make me sleep well.

Absolutely the cans, Love the OP's but dont have them often they tend to sneak up on you like a sledge hammer. Must be drunk on ice, can of into a pint glass of ice

Either start adding Port to my Guinness or if I’m full up of beer, Southern Comfort neat
Bad experience on the Southern Comfort in my formative years, cannot touch it now unfortunately.
Come to think of it, orange juice and alcohol has not been kind to me over the years full stop when mixed together.
I have the same problem with Vodka and Orange. Got so drunk off it I fell asleep in the loo in the pub. Woke the landlord up when I fell off the pot and banged the door and he thought he was being burgled.
I only lived up the street so he took me home, left me lying on the hall floor and bunged the key in. I woke up next morning lying in a pile of puke with my old man bawling at me for throwing up on the carpet. The usual “when you own your own house you can do what you like, but whilst you are living under my roof.......... “, you know how it goes. I was only 16 or maybe 17 at the time. Never been able to face Vodka since, not much of a fan of Orange Juice either come to think of it.
Vodka and orange is a dangerous combo, when I was about 17 me and a few mates were going to The Fringe and hit the Oxford before heading to see the show. Had a truckload then later ended up in the Royal Adelaide after chucking on my mates girlfriend's shoes. Went on a cruise a few years later where vodka and orange was my choice of poison, my tongue was raw from the amount of orange juice I had. Have given it a wide berth since.
I use to drink Nikov(vodka and orange in a cask) at the Sky Shows they use to have 20+ years ago. The Pub on Port Road there near Coca Cola would serve 12 year olds back in the day.
That sh*t now would be poison.

I played a season of U16's rugby on the oval outside Thebby Oval, our captain was 14 and would go for a couple of beers at the pub over the road every Sunday. It was a dodgy comp, some of the opposition U16's drove to the game.

I have a bottle of Raki on the cupboard. Everytime I think I’m drinking too much I open the bottle and take a sniff. Soon gets me back on track.
Being involved in the wine industry we get good info on wines, samples here and there and often stumble across hidden gems.
At thew moment there's a cab sav called "Parson's Paddock" going for $36 a six pack at First National, it's usually $14 a bottle but tastes like it should be more, a very smooth drop.
We love a good red, we even have a book that we enter each bottle that we consume to rate on price vs taste, the Vintner's I speak with reckon the dear bottles are a pure gimmick, I've found $10 reds that shit all over $50+ bottles.
