There should be a pool that clubs can put players into that miss out after Thursday selections.
Clubs running short can request players form such pool and get a loan transfer or something similar.

Bugger! How long do you leave it until you make the call or is the Friday night ring around still underway? Been there and its not fun. Never envy the job of the coach in this situation.

If GG were keen, they should sling you a couple of players so the game still plays. Winning by 20 goals is much better for their % than accepting the 10 goal forfeit win.

aside from being outside of the current rules - perfect idea. Who is to say we would win by 20 goals if MP got a side together anyway. Apart from the games against Marion and Houghton they have been more than competitive. We were never treating this game as a sure thing.
