They didn’t have to do too much to be fair.
Everytime we had the ball we turned it over. Some of our kicking was woeful, kicking straight to the opposition, generally one that was in manned. 2nd half we looked like North of last year, too many went missing.
South had too much time and too much space and to their credit they made the most of it.

All to do with the work rate of both teams. They manned up better and created more space and options for each other. We kept kicking to options with no margin for error because that was all that was available.

Re: R7 North v South Sat 1410
So I’ve just tuned in to the radio coverage up here on my island in the gulf of carpentaria, and I hear a female commentator say, redi, redigolo is that how you say it. Well he seems to be playing way too loose on the north Adelaide full forward, whoever that is. First commentary I heard, ffs, turned it off. Amateur hour
Just to clarify I am assuming that was the DIgital Pass audio stream and not the 1079 Life radio call as Life had no female caller.

Dunno, swore I heard a female in the studio on the 107.9 coverage Phil!
Seriously though, that cross to Glenelg Oval was a waste of time, didn't understand one word that bloke on his mobile said.

Yep ... the 1079 Life Around The Ground crosses today were hit and miss alas... last one from Woodville was as clear as a bell but that was best of mixed day.

Agreed South did work harder. But I lost count of the number of times a North player would kick it straight to a South player when there wasn’t a Rooster within 20 yards of him. Our disposal was shocking

Re: R7 North v South Sat 1410
Good win, 13 goals to 4 after QT.
Usual suspects of Liddle, Davis, Cross, Rose busy, while pleasing to see the generally inconsistent Rankine string a couple of decent games together.
Hope a few people took a piece of the $6.10 on offer for a South win.
Agree with others that the commentary on the digital pass for this game was dreadful. Walsh and the coach of South's women's team, who doesnt appear to have watched South's mens team too often and knew none of the North players. Does the SANFL not listen to the crap being broadcast?
As an example when a South player fluffed a kick in and Walsh was asked by his off-sider who made the error. "Um, well, Crabb was named at full back so we'll say it was him". Might as well just leave a mic with the Grog Squad next time.

Yeah it was Phil, I didn't realise that Life were doing the game. Maybe a reminder post in the game threads so we don't miss it.
The commentary itself was appalling, it's one thing to not know the players but several times we were hardly made aware that a goal had been kicked. They were too busy rambling on about something else. Like they just didn't care
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....
