haha i see what u did there
meanwhile..
the elimination final has been played and sorted, west croyden dont get a free ticket back in
TOS are winners now of the other final, they progress, due to disqualification, of the winning opposition.
In 2013 when Essendon were booted from the finals, Carlton who finished 9th and didn't even deserve to play finals were given a lifeline. If they can do it in the AFL I don't see why it couldn't be done in a Division 6 competition.
Same thing happened to Glenunga in 2016 - didn't make finals off their own accord but were given a lifeline when Rosewater were booted.
that was before the finals were played, fitzroy and WC have fought it out decided who is the current 4th best team in the div
West Croyden spent saturday night at presos closing up their season, with sad speeches and thankyous and wished everyone back next year. Theyre out.
else you happy they come back and win the granny are you or get into granny & promoted to div 5 after being eliminated from the elimination final
Well if they weren't on the rough end of the stick with losing those 3 points they would've had the double chance because they actually finished 2nd, which is more so where my point is coming from. Here's the chance for redemption and give the double chance they deserved.
ramming23 you must be high as a kite.. in no way, shape or form do West Croydon deserve to be reinstated - and doing so doesn't lift any "integrity" of the league.

Question is, should Salis West not be affiliated in 2019 as Footy Chick highlighted is a possibility, what would promotion/relegation look like?
Would the 9th placed side be saved? Would two go down and three come up from D7? Would an olive branch be extended to Hackham or similar to join the AdFL to replace Westies?

Although I reckon Lutheran would be given first life line I wonder if they'd take it given a 3-15 record this season, 2 of those wins against winless Greenies. The top end of div. 7 looked in better nick than the arse end of div. 6.

If Luthies declined, would it be offered to Greenacres?

Would think SPOS would jump at chance to go up if they don't make GF

It could be much more difficult than this, if SN aren't given affiliation too..
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit
Div 7 could start week or two later, play 7x games up to the long weekend, have a weekend off like everyone else, play back 7x games and start finals 2x weeks earlier that the rest.

I'd try to make as minimal impact as possible on the least amount of grades.
I don't think Iggies or GG were out of their depth in div 2, they could be spared.
