Why did you delete that, I thought it was funny?. Surely no one took offence especially on this site
Yeah why?
Now it looks like I’ve ‘liked’ a dot

Missus is taking the kids back to the homeland this coming Saturday. I fear my lads are in for a fair culture shock over there, but I'm happy they'll be getting to meet family for the first time (missus will be too).
So I rate baching it for 3 weeks, but I struggle not seeing my kids when they go on a 2 day school camp, so kinda nervous about not seeing them for 3 weeks.
First full day there, eldest gets butted by the familys pet deer and both my boys learn how to shoot a gun. What could possibly go wrong?

When you've known someone for a long time, especially since you were a kid, you get to know their family.
One of my mates Uncle's was found dead on the weekend some days after his passing. He was a bit of an oddball, a recluse, but he would have died alone in a cold, empty little flat.
Sad to think of someone passing like that.

Yep, horrible thought.
When I ran a Sports & Social Club we had this old bloke used to come in Friday nights and then started doing odd jobs around the place to help out, he went missing for a couple of weeks so we checked his address and thought we'd check up, his neighbours had alerted the police the day before as he had died during during his sleep with his electric blanket on approximately 10 days prior.
We didn't know him overly well but enough to appreciate that he enjoyed our company, he must've had no one else.

George Pell rightfully is returned to jail and Andrew Bolt doesn't believe he was "insane" enough to try and commit those crimes in a public place.
Pauline Hanson meets with Aboriginal elders at Uluru and decides she'll probably climb it anyway.

Reading about the young lad hit and killed by a car in Sydney yesterday while walking to school. How the driver with the rap sheet he has was still freely enjoying the benefits of society is beyond me. The Injustice System strikes again

Read that this morning.
Heartbreaking for the family.
The arsehole driver needs a long stint in jail IMO

SANFL Finals.
I miss the atmosphere/feel for finals back in the 90's/early 2000's with SANFL clubs playing with passionate SANFL supporters barracking.
Use to love watching neutral finals and just soaking it all in.

Last years Prelim was a cracking game, and I’d imagine many neutrals felt the same about the GF (and even last weeks Elim).

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
Cannot even bring myself to watch today's games on the box.
Took the tribe for lunch at the GFC instead. At least it was relatively quiet.

Finding out that one of my best mates has had his brain tumour come back, this time in an inoperable location.
