My counterpart wore a hat and applied sunscreen, I only found my stuff from last season 10 minutes before I left home, lesson learnt.Footy Chick wrote:

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 4 - 2020
BLUES PUT D4 ON NOTICE
Pulteney began its return and journey to division 4 in emphatic fashion on the weekend, scheduled to head to Duncan Fraser Reserve and face the relegated Gepps Cross Rams - eager to make their time in the lower grade short lived.
In front of one of the biggest Pulteney crowds in seasons of zero, conditions were a stark contrast to last season, with some inclement weather about, providing a softer surface, combined with a strong Westerly pushing across the ground, bound to test the skill levels of both sides.
Despite the fight put up by the Rams, Pulteney were able to match them at each line, whilst finding space of their own and eventually after a two hour arm wrestle the Blues came away without the loss.
It topped off a good return for Pulteney - undefeated across all three sides, and thanks largely to other results currently find themselves sitting equal top of the ladder - amazingly, not even percentage separates them from the #1 position.
Ressies coach Matt Bedgegood gave credit to Gepps for the way they went about it, but complimented his disciplined group of players, who were not overawed by the moment. "Despite the scores remaining tight all day, I was confident that we would come away with the result in the end" remarked Bedgegood.
Best players were tough to pick, an even spread across the board and even the umpires seemed ready for Round 1, producing consistent performances.
It wasn't all smooth sailing though, especially in the B grade, with a couple of late outs due to self-isolation creating headaches early and when the weather turned cold, a player who wont be named "pulled a hammy" at a critical time in the game, when the scores were level.
Whilst most played their role, sadly there were a couple that seemed to be missing and just couldn't get in the game.
Blues roll on, while for the Rams it's back to the drawing board after failing to pick up a win in any grade.

Well not sure about that, but the fact is there certainly was several key players for Geppies that failed to trouble the stats columns.. in fact not even sure they got anywhere near the ball, let alone touch it.Brodlach wrote:Hearing Pultney played so well it was like Gepps Cross didn’t even show up
Although honestly, we are running hot out the South Parklands.. I would be surprised if we dropped a game before July.
