Actually I find this is one of the biggest problems in the world at the moment - social media/networking/applications has given everyone an opportunity/platform to voice their opinions and propaganda and think that everyone should listen.

Belief x desire = simultaneous rejection of scientific consensus while believing ludicrous conspiracy theories founded on wafer thin pretext.

There is a point where people are so dumb, they don't even realise they are that dumb.

Saw it a lot with climate change denialism and now seeing it with COVID-19.
