Well that doesn't look good from the D3R medalist.Lightning McQueen wrote: Loved at the 9:30 minute mark seeing the umpire ask the player to get the ball for him, #1 for Flinders could be sitting round 1 out next season around the same time.

Good umpire that one, always happy when he is allocated to a game i'm involved in.Lightning McQueen wrote:Loved at the 9:30 minute mark seeing the umpire ask the player to get the ball for him, #1 for Flinders could be sitting round 1 out next season around the same time.
Yeah, 2-3 weeks for #1, footy gods obviously saw it too and got GG over the line as a result!
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Golden grove would be pretty keen to try and get to div 2 now you would think?! Glenunga didn’t win a game and GG went 9/10... no brainer for me

Agree, plus their depth is a lot lot better than Glenunga’s.

Don't disagree
BUT
Unless Glenunga indicate that they want to go down, then in D2 they will stay.

nope, why would Athelstone forego having a proper crack at D1?mighty hounds wrote:I’ve heard they have put a request in to go down a div as have AthelstoneFooty Chick wrote:Don't disagree

and if either of the above did, they'd need an agreement with another team to swap.

I think glenunga were pretty close to asking to stay down last year after a big player exodus, lots to still play out in several divisions I think

Couldn't agree more Malle Park I have heard similar things in relation to Glenunga.bubba love wrote:I think glenunga were pretty close to asking to stay down last year after a big player exodus, lots to still play out in several divisions I think
Once again we have seen it time and time again clubs recruiting at lower levels riding the wave of success and flags for a few years and then wanting afresh reset when players leave!!
And i cant imagine them not to find someone to swap with would think Golden Grove would jump at the chance to get back to div 2

Would have thought any of TTG, SHOC or Henley would jump at a chance to return to D1 if offeredFooty Chick wrote:nope, why would Athelstone forego having a proper crack at D1?mighty hounds wrote:I’ve heard they have put a request in to go down a div as have AthelstoneFooty Chick wrote:Don't disagree

More clubs than Greg Norman but has been very successful where ever he’s been.Sturtman wrote:Craig Smith is their coach for season 2021.Brodlach wrote:Portland are advertising for a new coach for Div 3
He’s got a big job ahead of him but best of luck as the competition needs a strong Portland.
Any truth to the rumour big Tommy Lipson is reconsidering retirement to play at his old club?

Craig Smith is a very good appointment, will be a tough gig, but having worked in the coaches box with him previously, I would think he will do a great job.
