Re: Netflix
Anyone here like Ozark? I really like it but getting a bit too far fetched now.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Season one was entertaining, but as you said by the end of season two it was quite cringey. Jumped the shark when the Brydes suddenly become foster parents for the pastor's daughter.Bum Crack wrote:Anyone here like Ozark? I really like it but getting a bit too far fetched now.

Season three recovers though, and was an improvement on the second IMHO.saintal wrote:Season one was entertaining, but as you said by the end of season two it was quite cringey. Re: Netflix
Yeah I like Ozark.
I think they changed story line late in season 2 as they got confirmation about a 3rd season.

Re: Netflix
Ozark probably my favourite season, this next one coming up is meant to be the finale isn't it? Also, pretty sure I read it's a longer season (14 ep's IIRC), so almost like 2 in 1.
Been trying to get through Gangs Of London, but it's not one I can watch with kids around. It's certainly not slow or boring lol.

Re: Netflix
I was similarly minded after season two as well, Jimmy. I think season three is definitely worth a shot, though.Jimmy_041 wrote:I gave it away after the 2nd seasonBum Crack wrote:Only into the second season.gadj1976 wrote:What series are you up to? Re: Netflix
Couple more movies recently viewed
Ava played by jessica Chastain of Zero Dark Thirty also John Malkocich. She Plays an assassin. Easy to watch, no real surprises here. But solid enough.
The Glass Castle - woody harrelson. This is from 2017. Based on a true story, and the saying truth is stranger than fiction rings true here. Did enjoy it though.

Only just discovered the show Rake, reckon its a great Aussie series with such a wide range of our best actors (albeit some in very short cameos)

First few seasons are a fun watch, Roxborough plays the cheeky rogue very, very well. It jumped the shark IMO around the fourth season.JK wrote:Only just discovered the show Rake, reckon its a great Aussie series with such a wide range of our best actors (albeit some in very short cameos)

Re: Netflix
Has anyone checked out "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (on Amazon Prime, not Netflix)?
Just started season 3, and it's facking funny, like a mid-late 2000s 'Seinfeld' with four hilarious yet reprehensible characters. Worth a squiz if you're after a holiday laugh or five.
