And caught behind off a no ball

Agree, his match. Now caught on a No-ball by Robinson. Would not read about it
How hard is it? I used to bowl 20-30 overs most Saturday's and probably no-balled a dozen times?
There's a thick white line there that you need to stop before, use it instead of trying to claim a couple of extra inches, save that for after the game.
I heard an interview with Chris Woakes, who was questioned about England's no ball problems in Test matches. Apparently, England haven't bowled a no ball in ODI's for a very long time and he was asked how come they can get it right it one form of the game, but not the other. Woakes' could only suggest that they concentrate more in ODI's because of the consequences of bowling a no ball i.e. free hit. They may have to rethink this approach because it's bloody hard to take 20 wickets.
How do so many people get out just after a ton, especially bowled or LBW, you sort of can understand at club level and you're more than likely going to get out caught going the tonk, but when you've faced 304 deliveries you'd think your judgement might be on cue.

Having said that, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the onus is on the umpires to keep the game moving. Changing gloves every 3 overs, drinks every time they run a 2 or 3, towels to wipe down and the list goes on and on and on. Umpires need to tell them to get on with it and then they should get on with it.
Fox last night was talking about the slow over rate only to interview Labuschagne in a drinks break, Smith actually ended up telling Labuschagne to get moving.
Agree with this.
I'm cautious about punishing just the fielding side, yes they have been slow but the batters are absolutely no better.
Smith changed his gloves after 15 balls last night FFS come on. Batsmen walking down the pitch to chat every couple of balls.
Another big contributor is the fact that the batsmen have become so extravagant and can hit to pretty much any part of the ground off all kinds of crazy lengths and lines. Throw in modern day sport, the big dollars, the over analysis from 360 degree of media and captains just have to try and get each field 100% spot on. Long gone are the days where every batsmen tries to play in the V for their first 50 balls and you just had a keeper, 3 slips, gully, point, cover, mid off, mid on, fine leg.
Bowler should be able to run in regardless of whether the batsman is ready or not

He really doesn't look Test standard with some of his shots and leaves. Not only should he have played at the ball that got him, he should have been seeing it like a watermelon. Then he burns a review.

When Root is bowling to Smith they have a bloke in close with the helmet on, then for Carey he takes it off runs it behind the keeper and then off to another position. This is holding up each bowl.
When the paceman bowls they give there hat to the mid on/mid off. Depending what handed batsmen is on it is significantly delaying the bowlers time to get to fine leg, especially if it’s the other side of the oval pending what handed batsmen is on strike.
