It's always a shame when they can't get a run at it after promising so much at junior level. Big drop down to Div 4 if he went that way.

Assuming he is still a SANFL listed player with Port Adelaide's AFL Reserves team, former Norwood and Hawthorn listed player Luke Surman has signed with Willaston, to play under Andrew Jarman.

I always thought Surman was a bloke with a tonne of talent and the right physical build for a key forward. I could never quite understand why he couldn't establish himself at Norwood.
