Tapley’s Hill Rd by Harbour Town EVERY-SINGLE-F#CKING-DAYLightning McQueen wrote:I'm beyond caring about it but every time I stay in Gawler and take the expressway to work the amount of cars that sit in the right hand lane doing 108 and sitting on the same speed as the car next to them seems to be getting more prominent.
I wish coppers would patrol the journey and fine the people to see it ease off.
On Sunday I was heading down there and some spacker was sitting on about 75 in the fast lane, every man and his dog was sitting up his clacker tooting and then abusing him as they raced around him using the left lane but there were absolutely no f**** given, he didn't flinch at all.
The standard of drivers has really decreased over the past few years.
Need a driving beer to handle that stretch, been shithouse for years along thereSpargo wrote:Tapley’s Hill Rd by Harbour Town EVERY-SINGLE-F#CKING-DAYLightning McQueen wrote:I'm beyond caring about it but every time I stay in Gawler and take the expressway to work the amount of cars that sit in the right hand lane doing 108 and sitting on the same speed as the car next to them seems to be getting more prominent.

you see it from drivers just getting onto the freeways/expressways. enter ont he left, dive immediately to the right lane, regardless of the other cars, and sit there under the limit until they need to leave and dive back to the left right before their exit...Lightning McQueen wrote:I'm beyond caring about it but every time I stay in Gawler and take the expressway to work the amount of cars that sit in the right hand lane doing 108 and sitting on the same speed as the car next to them seems to be getting more prominent.

You know there is no such thing as a "fast lane" right - speed limit is the speed limitLightning McQueen wrote:On Sunday I was heading down there and some spacker was sitting on about 75 in the fast lane.

Not that I drive along that road as much as you would but f**k me are people allergic to doing the speed limit along there? It's 80 not 70 or 60 FFS.Spargo wrote:Tapley’s Hill Rd by Harbour Town EVERY-SINGLE-F#CKING-DAYLightning McQueen wrote:I'm beyond caring about it but every time I stay in Gawler and take the expressway to work the amount of cars that sit in the right hand lane doing 108 and sitting on the same speed as the car next to them seems to be getting more prominent.

I avoid Brighton Rd like the plague, 14 sets of traffic lights, tram & train crossings between Anzac Highway & Cement Hill - utter shit show.Lightning McQueen wrote:It's all Doris's going to Harbour Town thinking they'll get a bargain.Spargo wrote:Tapley’s Hill Rd by Harbour Town EVERY-SINGLE-F#CKING-DAYLightning McQueen wrote:I'm beyond caring about it but every time I stay in Gawler and take the expressway to work the amount of cars that sit in the right hand lane doing 108 and sitting on the same speed as the car next to them seems to be getting more prominent.

It's annoying as from the northern end of the metro area it is generally an easier drive if you're heading to Noarlunga, you should be able to open the valves a little in that bit before you hit the painful Brighton Road.
