The SANFL isn’t perfect but with all its faults it’s so far and away the best competition outside the AFL it isn’t funny

Serious question, are more WA people aligned to AFL clubs, hence less interest in the WAFL teams?

WAFL has never been a well supported league in my opion
It's always been a bit behind the SANFL. Of course, for much of the twentieth century Adelaide had a larger population than Perth.

At this point GL and ST will raffle top spot.
WWT has a good run coming home and should finish above CD.
NA next.
An improving NW might nudge out the improved WA,
SA has one hand on the spoon.

Not sure about a good run. Eagles have to play all teams except CD, altho a lot/most are at home.

We're not playing well enough right now. I'd suspect the Tiges to push clear of top spot but I hope we motor home to secure the double chance.

Definitely need to get back to playing our best footy but should finish top 3 could still jag top.

Crowserves are still the major concern for the comp.
Fingers crossed the pricks don’t make the AFL finals.

I've said it before, if Central or South don't win it, I hope the Crows smash the "yes" clubs. Then we'll no longer hear, well "they haven't won a premiership yet", as if that's the only concern with AFL reserves.

On a side note, supposedly the West Coast reserves team has only two afl listed players available and they're getting smashed each week (they've lost 18 in a row). The inclusion of reserves teams over there has had the same impact as here, with poorer "ultimate" performance by the AFL teams. What a failed experiment.

They've won 5 games since the start of 2021 ( 5 of 46 ).

Not quite sure where to put this but 7198 fans turned up at North Hobart today to watch Tasmania v Queensland!
And some locals tell me there was a big local game and a lot of kids weren't counted too!

So 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th all lost this week

Should just hand the premiership to Glenelg now. Would be the biggest choke since they went the Minor Round 18-0 and didn’t get the chocolates!

For the first time this season last years Grand Finalists won in the same round

NA 10-6 AC 7-15
ST 3-12 NW 9-5

In both games the losing teams had more scoring shots

Ridiculously short. I’ll admit I had a crack at them at $5 preseason then got $8 after round 1, but even money in this comp? Pass…
