Well the Willaston kids would hardly be playing A's @ Willaston anyway, from what I've seen it looks as though they have built a bit of a culture amongst the young lads that headed out there.
It's really only the last couple of weeks that things have turned diabolical.
From what i was told Saturday they'll struggle to field 2 sides again this year A grade struggled for 20 and got to 21 when Fenwick went and grabbed his gear Played in good spirits though and kept trying all day despite the score board was the report i was given
Eastern Park v Salisbury should be a good contest, although Eastern Park played on the weekend without Milera Buckby McMullen and Kovacic (who played B's for some reason). If they can get all them back it will be a good game with Eastern Park just getting over the line, without those blokes i think Salisbury too good but small ground will be a big factor in my opinion.

No chance they would be playing A's at Willaston.
I hope they have created a culture that sees them all stay out there. Would love to see all the northern burb clubs rise through the grades, its not only good on field but helps to create a greater community all round.
Just doesnt seem to be that strong a loyalty amongst the modern ammo that they are willing to stick it through the tough times. Ill also add checkily and having spent some time at South Gawler back in my younger days, im going to guess a few of these Barossa lads thought they could come out to div 7 and 'run amok' and 'take the piss' knowing the Barossa arrogance.

EP didn't want to beat Fitzroy by too much so it hurt their percentage, so they can play them and whoop them week 1 of the finals.

Time will tell i suppose.
They're kids.. I suspect they just followed their jnr coach for an opportunity to play together and play A grade footy.

That's different than how unfair it was with percentage when Fitzroy played Elizabeth.

Exactly, knowing a few of these kids I don't think whuffer is anywhere close to their line of thinking, they wouldn't be playing A's at Willaston and most would struggle to get a B Grade game, they picked up a couple of kids from Elizabeth and Gawler Central, there's a good bunch of lads out there, I was very happy for Bill to notch a couple of wins against the odds.

Top of the table clash this week between EP and SAL will be a beauty! Pretty simple - win finishes top. Absolutely massive. Knapp closing in on 100 goals as well will be eager to knock that off.
Could also have implications on the B grade ladder - if EP win the A grade, then they could effectively mean they're sending their B grade to Ingle Farm for the QF.
So much to play for.. so much to play out.

Tough game this week he probably plays up on the wing/mid and then brings home the ton in front of his Cricket club at Mofflin Reserve in the last round.

Taking that a step further - has there ever been 2 players in the same side kick 100 or more goals in a season.

Combined scored more than the bottom 4 sides. Without factoring in points only around 200 points less than 6th place. Pretty Crazy. Considering its a bit lopsided its also quite an interesting Division

I've heard of it once I reckon in the Hills league, Graham & Ashby for Gummies.
Year from memory good old Callington pre merge where losing by 60-70 goals. Apparently Qunno kicked 40 in a game and i seem to recall Micky Ashby having some sort of goal kicking record in a game but thay would have been when it has happened.
The Great Malcolm Blight and Bob Beecroft where on course to do it in the early 80s for the Woodville Peckers so Blighty moved Bobby to full back for the second half of the year
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05

Wouldn't have thought we scored 200 goals for the year many times.
