Awesome to see two former battling clubs in the SFL having on field success.. may the best sides win.. and by best sides I mean mighty Sullies
Hackham won the SFL C grade flags in '18 & '19 after finishing runner up in '17. OSB might have fell into a final earlier than that when SFL had a top 8 and there was only 11-12 teams, but certainly nothing much in the last decade.

Pity they both can't be in a GF but hope whoever wins takes out the whole lot.
OSBL played in a losing Div 7 GF in their first SAAFL year against Marion in 2018
Poor blokes were undefeated up until the final day too from memory.

Been fantastic to See Marion climb the ranks, genuine chance it DIV 5 this year too

Lost one game in the minor round, then half the side retired the next year. Much younger team this time round.

Hackham would have last played finals in the A’s in 1996 I reckon. Lost the prelim to Happy Valley from memory after being minor premiers (Or 2nd to Marion) in the SFL’s golden era? The top 3-4 sides in the SFL in those days were easily as good as anything going around in metro and regional SA. Seriously tough and good competition and the supporter base was enormous.

Went to St Mary’s after watching my beloved Kookaburras get rolled in the reserves at Glandore. Hackham lost no admirers today after an outstanding effort. In the 3rd quarter some just plain silly actions by one bloke cost them dearly when the game was there to be won. That came back to bite them late when the class of Lonsdale stood tall. Dan Loveridge and Trev Rigney with a combined age of 80 years are still absolute class and were the difference.

Good news!

You can catch the J1 instead into town and then the H24 to the Parade, because the GF will be at Norwood Oval.

You're welcome.

I’m banned from the suburb of Norwood, I’ll get Shazza to post updates on FB for me.

Will they charge to get into the Div 7 Grand Finals this weekend?

Only reason I asked that is that there is a SANFL Reserves 2nd Semi-Final programmed at this stage for Norwood oval at 11am which don't charge to enter.

So if you want free entry..........

Bluedemon - it would have helped if you shared that SANFL Reserves fixturing info when you asked the question. Worth noting that D7R and D7 are being played at 12.45 and 2.45 with the SANFL Reserves game listed for 11am.

I'm going to assume that Norwood and the AdFL have agreed to those later times to accommodate the SANFL Reserves final but that Norwood will be speaking to the SANFL about starting the Reserves final at around 10.30am because 11am is too late to enable the next game to start at 12.45. There will definitely be a gate charge for the AdFL spectators (otherwise why program it for Norwood) so it will be up to Norwood and the AdFL to work their way around the gate issue. Is it wrong of me to suggest that the Norwood and Sturt reserves supporters will be quite easy to pick out from any Para Hills, Smithfield and OSB supporters who may think a very early arrival could get them in the ground without paying

I dunno, @down the hill there are some Sturt supporters out there who could more politely called the "Black Sheep" of the family

3rd-4th born, are usually down the pecking order in the inheritance stakes so life hasn't been as kind to them as the first born (who got the Hyde Park/Malvern residence) and could easily fit the demographic of the 5096 and 5160 post codes...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Just wear a Norwood or Sturt duffle coat over their club merch.

The SANFL Reserves game is showing on PlayHQ as 10.30 am start, and don’t you have to pay to go to that game as well.

What will some clubs supporters out North have to whinge about now? SAFootballer has disappeared to collectively silence their hard-luck stories in the replies and now this…. ;)
