Had a lemon in the fruit bowl for a couple of weeks and thought I'd better use it or chuck it out.
Got no other beer in the fridge ... so what the hell, put the Coronas in the freezer for half an hour. Sliced the lemon, cracked a Corona and slid it down the neck.
I gotta admit, it is going down a treat. What is an otherwise unremarkable beer is enhanced by the lemon.
But then that says something about the beer itself, don't it. Can't see myself buying a six pack in preference to a beer that doesn't require a citrus fruit to make it palatable.

The Mexicans only put the lemon in it initially to keep the flies away.Pseudo wrote:A bloke left a couple of Coronas here after a barbie more than a year ago.

Grabbing some beer last night and a couple guys talking about Eclectic brewing which I'd never heard of.
But both raved about them. The guy behind counter sells out as soon as they arrive

Apparently just brews from home. Hence low quantity.

They are next door to the Pub Drink there or in the pub. Good range, some high percentage beers, one stout 10%, ipa 7.5-%.mighty_tiger_79 wrote:And Uraidla also got a positive review from these lads.

Went for a drive xmas eve to get a carton of Goodisons Mid Strengths and the collected bottles of Woodford Reserve, Makers Mark & Prohibition Original Gin the next day from the family.
Just missing the KI Spirits Whiskey Barrel Gin, plan to make that purchase tomorrow.

Traditionally not a go to beer for me.
First up, the aroma is actually quite pleasant. And it has a good texture about it.
On a hot day this would be superb
