Pity about the injury as Brincat v Schulz would be a good matchup to watchThe Bedge wrote:Brincat is the best ruck I’ve seen though, single handedly won the game for BOS earlier in the year.. but he’s missed a fair chunk with injury so overlooked.

I was surprised no Brincat until I saw his game log. Fair enough. The Bedge wrote:Brincat is the best ruck I’ve seen though, single handedly won the game for BOS earlier in the year.. but he’s missed a fair chunk with injury so overlooked.

A few that come to mind from games I’ve seen (which has been far from all of them)…

That hit gets weeks in 2010. I’m staggered that was taken to the tribunal.

Apparently West Croydon complained to the league over the penalty.even saying weetra could of prevented it by not baulking. Someone from West Croydon even rang Para hills complaining about that it was sent in to be investigated..

Lots of clubs are pretty quick to send stuff in these days and wouldnt even consider ringing the club to chat first.

Why would you even consider ringing the club in this instance? The bloke cleaned Weetra up from front on and got his just desserts. End of story.

The Run Home
Fitzroy - Houghton (H), Para Hills (H), Ingle Farm (A), West Croydon (H)
Ingle Farm - OSB Lonsdale (H), St Pauls (H), Fitzroy (H), Rosewater (A)
Rosewater - Blackfriars (H), West Croydon (A), Para Hills (H), Ingle Farm (H)
St Pauls OS - West Croydon (H), Ingle Farm (A), Adel Lutheran (A), Para Hills (H)
OSB Lonsdale - Ingle Farm (A), Blackfriars (H), Houghton (A), Adel Lutheran (H)
Para Hills - Adel Lutheran (H), Fitzroy (A), Rosewater (H), St Pauls (A)
Blackfriars OS - Rosewater (A), OSB Lonsdale (A), West Croydon (H), Houghton (H)
Houghton - Fitzroy (A), Adel Lutheran (H), OSB Lonsdale (H), Blackfriars (A)
Final month of footy coming up. Whilst been known for a while, Fitzroy officially qualify for this years finals series.. and with WC last round, a win this week would sew up minor premiership. Para Hills, Blackfriars and Houghton still in the hunt for 5th place.
St Pauls in the best position to finish 2nd, playing the bottom two sides in the last month and 3/4 sides outside the 5, whilst ingle Farm play the other current top 5 sides to close out the season.
Feels like the top 5 is set, but can't say it with any certainty, it's genuinely going to come down to the last round.

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
Last week they had a couple double up C to B and B to A. suspect probably similar.
They do have an U17 side to draw on, wonder if they'll grab a couple of them.

Blackfriars OS - OSB Lonsdale (A), West Croydon (H), Houghton (H)
Houghton - Adel Lutheran (H), OSB Lonsdale (H), Blackfriars (A)
Three to go.. still plenty going on - Fitzroy have locked away the minor premiership with a 2 game + percentage gap. Ingle Farm and St Pauls massive match this weekend - the winner would just about lock away top spot (Ingle Farm with superior percentage could drop a game later and hold if they win, St Pauls finish with winnable games, can't see them losing their last two).
Rosewater are still lurking too and they have winnable matches coming up - in fact it could come down to Rd 18 against Ingle Farm on who finishes in the top 3.
Para Hills and OSB fighting for 5th spot - Houghton are still in the mix - would need to beat OSB next week also, and could set up for an exciting last round against Blackfriars where percentage win would be needed.
Lutheran will spend the next 3 weeks fine tuning their B grade finals side.. side note, talking of forward thinking, interesting to see a club has named a player a couple times this year who hasn't played.. sneaky sneaky..

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
Blackfriars Reserves forfeit. Absolute disgrace. How can West Croydon fill a side every week but they can't!! Massive day planned for OSB, past players day and the reserves captain would've played his 400th club game and 500th senior game...

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 6
Strange, must really be struggling - on paper it's a match they would've be favoured to win.
Although must admit was impressed with OSB last week - they were a better side than their ladder position suggested.
Disappointing for the club given the occasion though.
