Central have been, by far, the better team during the season, but that means faark all in a final … the scores are reset to zero.

Before yesterday, you would have been declared insane if you even dared to think the winner of The Parade clash would have had a hope of beating Central in the Elim Final, but that all seemingly changed in a matter of a few hours.

Central, inexplicably put in their worst effort for the season against a Bays side that rested 5 players, and The Legs somehow conjured up a spirited comeback from nowhere after being 35 points down against Port, form that had mostly eluded them throughout the season.

So do you make a prediction for Sunday based on what happened yesterday, or the form throughout the season?

What it tells us is that either side is more than capable of proceeding to the following week … either on their day are good enough.

Did the Legs play their GF yesterday, emotionally left it all at The Parade and now have nothing further to give?

Did Central just ease off yesterday because it was a dead rubber?

Faark nose … :-??

My head says Central, but my guts say the Legs … so by virtue of the greater volume, the Legs it is. Margin doesn’t matter.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

They have been the better team all year but I’d like to think we will make a game out of this but not sure it will be enough. Dogs by a kick

That win yesterday is the best I’ve seen for a while, and I hate the Legs just as much as Port :D

LOL … there was a young Bays reserves player, about 10 years ago, who shall remain nameless and was never going to set the world on fire, but his old man thought otherwise and was full of expectation that he was going to be AFL drafted. He got the shits with the Bays and transferred to Norwood, expecting a more ‘favourable’ environment for his son to be drafted.

A good mate of mine who was with Norwood at the time messaged me and and asked if he was any good. Massive spud with a dickhead Dad was my unfiltered reply, will be lucky to get a league game. Well, he lasted a few short years at the Legs with a grand sum of 2 league games to his tally, and not an iota of interest from any AFL team.

Norwood have the momentum off the back of an emotion-charged win.
How much has the magnitude of the Dogs hiding impact them?

Chisholm and Barry under injury clouds.
Conversely, Dogs have Grace, Presbury and Annand to call up. Do they bring in Iles and Mihail Lochowiak who would provide positive vibes and much appreciated experience.
Heard will be a match up issue, as will Callow.

Happy to see two SANFL Clubs battling our this game.

Monaghan has to be selected over Reed.
Is Schubert any chance of making his league debut?

Funny you should mention Schubert... he is definitely being mentioned as a possible fwd option for next week.
I am also a Monaghan fan .. I would have him ahead of gasper and Reed.

Grace missed a few?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Central should win this in a canter. After all, their entire senior lineup had a good rest last weekend...

Not ideal and masks the task very, very hard.

Yes Jimbo
Whadda season so many setbacks f and it should have been a jadefade
That NW even made finals is quite an achievement
Now Finn Heard suspended, and will play about 7 minutes less than he did the 2024 Grand Final
