Heccies over Kenilworth - 40+
Morphies over Gepps - 32
CLG over Mitcham - 15 points
Plympton over SMOSH - 35
Walkerville over CBC - 25
CLG stiff. 4 & 1/2 not bad .
How were they stiff?
Could be referencing the Spiniello shot that hit the post with 30 seconds to go that was then retaken and then became a goal to level the scores.

Watched a bit of the Plympton / Mitcham game. Clinical stuff from Plympton.

I know they’ve battled a bit come finals time but I think this is their year.

Surely those times get changed. The early and late are supposed to support teams with split venues. Those times make it impossible for CLG?

So what do you propose AS73? Any change to suit CLG will just shift the problem to Walkerville. The venue and time allocations are “seeded” based on where a clubs A grade finished. Morphies (2nd) get priority hence why the B grade Elim is getting played with the A grade Quali. This takes Walkies B grade away from their A grade (3rd) so they are next in line for preference so they get the 12 noon B grade and 2.30pm A grade stagger. So that leaves CLG (5th) who just have to deal with what the aforementioned leaves them. They will be extremely happy to have 3 teams in finals after coming up from D5 so I’m sure they will cope.

The league had finals and times all loaded within a few hours of Saturday’s games ending and it’s not an easy task based on the above.

There is no solution to suit everyone, spare a thought for Walkies, they're games are staggered and overlap, as you said, I'm sure they're happy making the finals, the deeper you go the easier it all aligns.

Not ideal but as DTH says, we are very happy to get all the grades in and will play wherever, whenever. No complaints.

Play one on Saturday and one on Sunday :D I’m sure volunteers would love that

That used to happen in fairness in the early 2000’s. I remember playing a couple Sunday finals however that was also when neutral venues were in place for all finals.

The relief to not have to play a Prelim must be palpable down at Plympton.

Huge from walkerville. Looked like Morphies were going to cruise through at Half Time.

One of the bigger momentum swings ive seen in a final.
