The commentary cronies don't know the rules either, makes its pretty embarrassing when they are bagging the umpires on interpretations which they have no idea about, and are oficiated correctly... Horrible to have your league President slagging off your umpires. That commentary team needs to change. the young bloke is atrocious
Sigh...
From the Warman puff piece in the "Tiser:
Warman is set to stay involved as a commissioner on the tribunal and as part of the league’s match day radio team.

Confusion over rules that exist only by hearsay, could be easily rectified with a simple communication.
The best thing this bloke has ever done is to move on.
No leadership at all, he has been the boss of a league that has benefited from large population growth and should be the strongest in the state but is far from it.
When things get tough, he wilts. I could go into his treatment of a female volunteer but its not for this forum, no surprise the board is a boys club.

Reynella
Liam Delahunty (45 league games at Westies)
Cameron Kirkland (returning from South)
Tom Schirmer (returning)
Cove
Riley Holder (2x GF appearances for Glenelg)
Apparently Sproule has signed for a couple more years and there are a few leaving Porties.
Inglis and Killian have re-signed for Shoes.
It's looks really exciting for 2026, as mentioned earlier Dylan McCormick has moved to Flaggies (40 league games at Westies), Reynella looking to address some issues from 2025 as well.
I've heard a few whispers re: departures from the Cocklediver$, got any names? Is Jarman taking a few with him?

Heard that Cam Mcgree is considering returning to the flies.
The additions for Reynella;
Delahunty (recruit)
Kirkland (returning from South)
Schirmer (returning from a year off)
McGree (rumoured to be returning)
For me, this puts them right back into Premiership calculations.
The only one that could’ve made this an even better start to the off-season for Reynella is if Whitbread returned. He has signed with Yankalilla where his partner plays netball.
I’m interested to see what Porties look like in 2026. Loved seeing them get the flag, but what now. 12-13 players were from other Clubs and a few aging players. I’m wondering if they will be able to cover any retirements or player movements and stay in the top three.
Valleys look poised to be at the top a little longer with what I believe (could be wrong), more home grown talent in the A’s already. Porties do have more decent juniors progressing through the ranks.

Where is Jarman going to coach?

Port Noarlunga are what's wrong with community football.
3 of the top 4 do it the right way, full of juniors/returning juniors and top up with a recruit or two.
I don't understand why a club with such a promising junior set-up insist on going the mercenary route, they went from being everyone's second team to pretty despised in the space of about 2 to 3 years
