Yesterday Im on South Rd in a 80kph zone doing the speed limit heading North from Reynella just after it changes from 60kph, see a bike on the left hand side 200m ahead of me, seems to be going pretty quick and I work out it is an ebike, anyway as you do with bikes you presume you will pass them at some point and prepare to make the adjustments to give them enough room, anyway I never catch him until he pulls* up at the lights near the Happy Valley reservoir.

I presume these bikes aren't allowed to go this fast, or are they?

nah looked like an young adult, full motor bike helmet though but no other protection riding on the rough shoulder of the road with no bike lane and wobbling around a fair bit which had me highly anxious.

They are rife everywhere now, there's one pillock that cruises up my work street wearing black and no helmet at nothing o'clock, he'd have to be doing 70-80.

There's quite a few of them around, as well as a few guys in hi-vis who've obviously lost their licences

I'd rather spend the extra time re-tracing my steps and finding it than having to resort to riding an e-scooter.

Nothing better than spotting someone on a Court Enforced Weight Loss Program.

A mate got done years ago, rode from Rosewater to Enfield every day for 12 months and dropped over 25kg.

Many, many moons ago, a mate got done for low range, while he was still living at home. Was too afraid to tell his mum so he made up the excuse he was doing extras in preseason

Comedian Sean Collins does an excellent bit where he talks about being old enough to talk himself out of masturbating.
