I think he may sneak a few D grade games in this season!

So he has come back to Modbury FS??? :)

No idea PM he was out watching Sam play Saturday but he hasnt graced the turf at the hawks nest. If he does come out and play he wont be playing A B or C grade i can assure you that.

I've seen some ridiculous comments on this forum but this is most ridiculous one

is it really ridiculous???? how??? do you know the selection criteria at Modbury? NO so jog on MM

The facts are is Port Dist got a clearance for him after he played cricket there last season knowing he wasnt sure if he wanted to play footy, they kept ringing him trying to get him out to training etc so to get them off his back he got a clearance to Modbury..... he is D Grade goal umpire i believe and if he wants a kick will slot into the D grade forward line

ridiculous still MM

No exactly ridiculous FS but he should have just said NO in the beginning by the sounds. All clubs like to know the truth no matter in D1 or D7 as to when a player is going to play with them and to get a clearance back to Modbury after, Golden Grove and Port Districts looks a little odd. You have explained the circumstances and thats fine but it just would have been easier to have said NO, I am not playing rather than lead a club up the garden path. Have no interest in any of the clubs but that would be how I would feel if it happened to my club or how most clubs would feel if it happened to them IMO

Yeah thats what should have happened but we all know that with Scuddsy not everything is that simple ;) He may have had intentions to play, im not sure..... his clearance to Modbury was in no way a playing situation led by MFC to get him back it was purely to get PD of his back, as i understand it.

ONly time will tell as to what Shane does, but all i do know is that we didnt order a guernsey big enough for him

To say Scudds wont play any higher than D grade at all this year is probably a bit much FS. . you have mentioned in your earlier post's that if he is willing to get fit than he is welcome to play. . that will still stand id expect. . C grade in Div 7 may need a big forward to kick to!

Sass its not rich at all..... if he wants to get fit and play then he will play what grade he is selected in.... If he is selected higher than D grade without training and doing the right thing then it goes against the standards set for the other players.... and we wont let that happen! He could pob come out in DV 7 and be a big target yes but if he hasnt done the work it wont happen

I'll keep these quotes for later in the year, I'll put them with the ones from last year where you said he'd never be back at Modbury ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Your post about Shane not playing a,b or c grade... I thought you were suggesting he never would regardless of fitness. I think if the a grade wants to reach the heights they have in recent years they need Shane fit and firing..
