Most big Euro leagues have similar if not more tiers with promotion/relegation etc.Booney wrote:

England for instance has 11 official tiers and then another 400+ divisions of local football. Theoretically even the tiniest two bit club in the UK is able to work its way up to the Premier League as all leagues flow through via promotion and relegation.
