Also, the committee has a list of candidates the are targeting to replace him.
True HBF. 3 games to go and I think it’s time for the club to have a new voice. I wish them nothing but success in the future.
As for me....one door closes and maybe another one will open......who knows?

Good luck with your future ventures mate.

Unlikely at this stage. Besides, not sure how accurate, but if the growing & constant rumours are anything to go by, the club has already identified and informally approached a replacement who has expressed interest in the role.
Retirement for me.

Thanks mate. Hopefully I will pop up somewhere so we can continue our association. I do enjoy visiting you and vice versa, hopefully next time it will be with a team that can challenge you a bit. All the best for the rest of the year mate

I will drink a few waters in your honour tomorrow.

Also thanks for returning our footys last week
From behind the goals?
So we did have them? I asked Gary and Neil and they both said they didn't find anything

Thanks Bedge, much appreciated! It's been a frustrating couple of weeks wondering if I was ever going to get there with a couple of forfeits testing my patience. But what's another 3 weeks when it's taken 21 years to get to this point!

Looking forward to the clash at Woody South tomorrow. 2 clubs with massive battles over the years last 30 years- None bigger than the 2013 drawn GF. The minor round game that year at Woody South was one of the best games of footy at this level I’ve seen.
Go the kookas!
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
Congrats to Heccies on their massive win! Ran harder, were cleaner and far more desperate - one side rocked up ready to play, the other was Ingle Farm.
Well done Heccies though, good in both grades, worked hard some great kids and a good setup for footy/cricket down there.. and a killer BBQ!

Yep Heccies came to play, (so to speak) That was one of the worst performances i've seen from the Farmers in a long time, I know we just don't have the cattle but that was filth, I hope we don't bottom out now with Paul not going on and Bill calling it a day, Bill's shoes will be massive to fill and Paul also has done a massive job , I think will be sadly missed, can only hope The Bedge is still around.
Just like to mention as the head coach of the Smithfield football club, i couldn't be more happier with my squad the way they have pulled together after a rough start to the season with the departures and injuries. Adam varco Matty stewart Ben towel Scott Webber Swede hanaman Rob Abdullah Also chris strange before round 1. That's a fair list there but all the remaining players stuck together and stood up and are improving each week as they get more game time together. Also i am very impressed with our on field and off field dissapline as we are getting good feed back from the umpires committee and our oppositions,we will keep chipping away to earn a gain respect from our opposition club's and umpire's.
