Your opponents this week have atleast double that out so you should still win easily

Yeah and they might bring Cloke back so does that count as an out?
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Big loss.

Hasn't been in great touch of late though (Kennedy bagged 7 against him, and whilst Hogan only finished with 3 on Saturday, could have easily kicked 5 or 6). I rate Hombsch as a defender, but playing as an intercept defender whilst the opposition's number 1 key forward is taken by Carlile/Trengove is more his go. Obviously Bobby's injury and Jacko in the ruck have seen us make the move.

Carlile back in seems logical. Logan Austin must be close. @Booney- seen much of him at SANFL level to pass comment?

I have, Austin will get a game this week I think. We'll bring in Carlile and Austin to play down back. At 195cm he pips Bob by 3 cm and I'd expect he'll come in to stand Cox. Either that or Trengove goes back, Howard rucks ( something in my preview about this ) and Carlile is the only "in".

I think Amon might be on thin ice and Broadbent needs to come back in too.

In - Carlile, Austin, Broadbent

Out - Hombsch, Amon, Polec

Days should be on here soon to confirm the in's and out's given the track record of his early mail the past few weeks.

What now for Carlile?
Is he finished barring any major injuries to other players?

Not sure, he's on contract until the end of next year. He's had 3 runs in the SANFL and hasn't looked that sharp to be honest, looked off the pace. He had a wrist injury which shouldn't have really impacted upon his running fitness.

I've got a feeling, as he's named on the extended bench this weekend, that he might make the final cut IF Cloke plays. Not many match ups in the game for Bobby now. Gut feel, Paul Stewart may miss out for Carlile.

Yeah if Cloke don't play..... Then Carlile is no chance.
This is where Port stuffed up by signing players to long term deals.
Carlile will be lucky to see out this year let alone next year where he is contracted.

When your a proven player in the agrade u kinda dont give a toss in the reserves. Is he expected to get best on ground in the sanfl before getting a spot with the power?

Cox aint no dudd u wont throw a rookie on someone who is igniting their forward line

Cloke is the dudd 'currently' but a rookie on him too might help cloke to find his form

Hinkley will want cloke annihilated they wont wanna be the team that help bring cloke back to form

Im not saying this is the case, but if you dont give a toss in the reserves you dont deserve to be at the club as you are terrible for club culture

I expect Trengove to take the centre hitouts then go back, Howard will then be the ruckman around the ground.

As noted in my preview Collingwood are 18th for hitouts ( and hitouts to advantage ) so Port can perhaps afford to give Trengove a "rest" ( as such ) behind the ball and he'll take which ever of Cloke / Cox is closest to goal.

Cox, igniting their forward line? I suppose comparing him to Cloke he is!

Cox has 9 goals in 6 games, hardly world beating stuff and IMHO the perfect match up for a first gamer, Austin has played a hell of a lot more footy than Cox in his life!

Put it a different way, when its known that your picked in the first 22 agrade, your rehabilitation is aimed towards regaining your place back in the 22. It is the conditioning journey of the player that is most important. He is not required to set the sanfl a light. They would hav requirements bobby would need to reach once done he is back in the side

U want bobbys head cut off, i believe he has plenty more to give in the agrade. Opinions opinions

The form of cox has been inspirational to the pies he is no all australian but his endeavour is lifting the collingwood because if he can then we can too. Pies probably should hav beaten doggies but had no bench last quarter

Dont players deserve credit on this forum? Are we all pessimists who only find the energy to login when theres a chance to shit on someone?
