Absolute raging club slut that Ryan Foley. Two of those three clubs he played more than 5 years at. Returned to Fitzroy and it didn't work out so slutted himself to West Croydon to reunite with a former coach and good mate for HUUUUGE dollars. That's what I call a slut, for sure!!

Not quite the rule, clubs can enforce the 3x player max, but it's not a hard and fast rule, you can recruit as many as you like if the club is happy for them to go.

However, as pointed out, a few of these lads are returning players, so they're exempt from that 3x player rule anyway.

I had troubles changing clubs because of the 3 player rule but ended up getting there in the end after a few tries

All it takes is a courtesy phone call from a player to the club they're leaving from prior to lodgement of clearance and most clubs will do the right thing.
