When I haven’t posted I’ve either been in hospital had hospital or specialist appointments
If you won’t then STF up
But hey, if the cap fits!
Enjoy top spot.
PS win lose or draw, I don’t shut up
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Re: Round 10 Eagles v Adelaide
Solid win to the Eags after a first quarter where they had plenty of the ball but poor skill execution let them down. Redden was excellent in the ruck, D'Aloia continues racking up plenty of effective possessions and Knight played his best game of the year, his ferocious tackling a highlight. Nice cameos from Wheare, Buck and Mawson. Rowlands getting back to his best form. McFarlane deserves a crack on the wing after good form in the seconds, replacing Bailey Hahn who doesn't get enough possessions.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation

If I am not mistaken, the Eagles jumped from 4th to top. A jump of such magnitude must be rare this late into the season - right @spell_check ?am Bays wrote:

I note that if results fall the right way this week then Sturt could climb to top spot from 5th.

I don't remember a season where the top 5 is so even. Most likely we slip back down to 4th after this weekend, and there'll be nothing we can do about it!Pseudo wrote:If I am not mistaken, the Eagles jumped from 4th to top. Quirk of uneven programming. Looking at the table in terms of losses reveals a notably different order to that published.Aerie wrote:I don't remember a season where the top 5 is so even. Regardless, Sturt and Woodville WT are the outstanding performers to date.

Too hard to call the top 3 at this stage given injuries sustained or injuries to come. The big three (G, N and St) seem to be the most likely, but this season is promising a few upsets.

You forgot to include the Magpies in this list...after all, they won a premiership last century.
