Unley vs Payneham felt a little weird
Neither were at their best
Worst ive seen of Unley since the first half of their trial vs Brighton.

Good to see PAOC pressing ahead with the new facility albeit unfortunate the whingers caused the original facility to be abandoned.

No.
PAOC have the bye.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

For me; one of the main indicators going into finals is the F-A + %
Have a look at PNU especially their defence ~15 goals better than anyone else
Next week: PNU backs v SPOC forwards will be a cracker

Watch it piss down all week and given it's at spoc be a 5 goal to 4 goal slugfest!
Also I tend to suspect that's a bit skewed. All of PNU's wins appear to have caught their opponents at their nadir (admittedly they might see themselves as somewhat unlucky in their losses)

In terms of how tight this comp is set up to be I think there's a decent chance someone will go 5-4 and come 7th.

I think you're right jo172. When we won our first five I had to keep telling people at our club who were claiming a finals spot was secured to button up because it was already becoming quite clear that teams could finish 5-4 and still have 5 or 6 other teams on 5 wins or more. I've just had a quick look at remaining games and it is quite possible that 4th to 7th or 5th to 7th could all finish on 5 wins.

Looks like a cracker finish coming up this weekend. Rocs should beat Brighton as they didnt look like much chop yesterday at district's. The other games could go either way but hopefully district's young on ballers can get the better of PAC

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2020
That moment you realise that its mathematically possible for Rostrever to go from 6th to minor premiers in the final round.
Aint happening (I can not see Unley beating St Peters)
Athlestone vs Adelaide Uni is a dead rubber, but the other 4 games will effect finals placing.
St Peters and Brighton are into finals, but could finish as low as 5th.
Goodwood, Rostrevor, Prince Alfred and Port Districts are win and they're in
Payneham winning will allow them to jump Goodwood, but theyd need results to fall their way to make finals (ie. Brighton def. Rostrevor, or PAOC def. Pord Districts or Port DIstricts def. PAOC)
Ill tip
SPOC to kill Unley
Goodwood to beat Payneham (I havent seen Goodwood since Rd 1, But recent scorelines look amazing, i know if Payneham is at their best they'll probably win, but i havent seen anything near their best since their loss to Port Districts where they dominated that 2nd quarter)
Rostrevor to beat Brighton (I havent seen Rostrevor this year, but Brighton have played worse each time Ive seen them - vs PNU, Unley then Uni - And speaking to some people from Brighton, they seem to have injury concerns atm which would explain their drop)
Prince ALfred vs Port DIstrict. If Trengrove is back ill go PAOC, if not, lets go Districts.

Trengrove won’t play again this season
But Jack Stephens back this week
He was very good against Unley

Im just looking at photos from SPOC v PNU
It was like 40 bloody degrees last saturday, how the hell is the ground trashed and everyone is muddy?

It was actually bizarre in a classic Caterer sense. When the ball bounced on a non-mud patch it would go three metres in the air as if it was round one. If it hit the mud it looked like there had been 20 ml of rain.
Ironic scenario this week. If Rostrevor and Brighton draw AND PAOC and Port Districts draw then both Goodwood and PNU miss the finals if PNU gets up.

I've given up trying to work out the maths in this grade. Too hard

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2020
ROCS making a statement today. Even they were 6th before today, think they are the best team in the comp and will win it from the Elimination Final. Even though Brighton had couple of their best players out today, they were horrid and will be out next week when ROCS beat them at home. Picking Goodwood Saints to be the other Grand Finalist, pretty good effort after losing first three games to end up 2nd with home Final.
