Great stuff mate!!!

Absolutely makes a difference. I havent completely abstained but rarely drink more than 2-3 beers in a session these days, no mid-week drinks and my world has changed. First of all i have taken back Sundays, what a day to be alive and 100% throw myself into active Sundays with the family. Sleep is so much better now as well especially with 4:20am wake ups for works.
Cheers.

Yep, I used to hate if I wrote off a Sunday due to a big Saturday, I'm loving being up and about full of beans on Saturday and Sunday mornings, I identified my flaws and I'm addressing them, everything I do I do it full on so I had to change. Looking at my bank statement on a Friday after my weekly Thursday night out opened my eyes up a fair bit.

There are other more important reasons behind my changes but it all comes down to one big picture.

I'm broken.
I decided on January 27 that I'm giving up the piss in exchange for a clean lifestyle. I can't believe the difference in how I feel in general, how much easier it is getting up for work in the morning, Saturday week ago all I drank for the day was water, haven't done that since I stayed at nan's for a day when I was 7.

I still go to the local every Thursday and to their amazement I get a coke zero (they don't even charge me for it), I did go out for a pint and parmi the other night, swapped the beer for softie though.

I didn't want to tell anyone incase I failed but the longer I abstain from alcohol the less I feel like a drink, I've had over a dozen various cans in my fridge the whole time, about 20 bottles of gins/vodka's/bourbons and a full wine rack at my disposal too, it's just not interesting me any more.
Can I have my birthday present back?

We have the same few bottle gift bags that circulate around the family, everyone knows to not put a name on the tag so they can put a new bottle in it and give it to the next person.

Of course it is.
It's just lazy and lacks any thought. It's appalling behaviour and society as a whole suffers*

Speaking of Lincoln, i've never been. I'm pretty keen to get over there but is there much for us to do with a 6-year old. Most of what i've seen is more ideal for a couples get away.

Have the potential to get the 6-year old to spend a weekend at her grannys but the little one has been amazing the last month or so and deserves to come along to any March long weekend get away we do.

Depends what you are into.

Beaches are awesome.

The animal farm about 10 minutes from the town is a good day out.

Fishing from the peer

Plenty of nearby towns to explore, Tumby Bay has an awesome bakery
