I think the winner tomorrow will go on and roll the RAMS next week!
RAMS should be very nervous

This from the Man that said Districts woukld win last start and was just 75 points from being spot on. Cmon Amber behave yourself.
Rams are about $1.12. anything can happen on GF day but lets be honest they are elite.
Get there and you are a quarter of a chance. Why the fug would a team that is essentially 19-0 be panicking

My comment was tongue in cheek as you know but anything can happen on the day.

Makes for a big game next week against Glenungalocky801 wrote:Port District big winners over PNU, close until the last 1/4
Rams go in red hot favourites but if Districts can stay in the game early I can see an upset on the cards

Saw Davis at Campbelltown yesterday looked to be carrying a bit of a knee problem very proppy when kicking the footy with his kid. Heard that he didn't train with main group yesterday morning.. Seems he may have done some damage against PD in the qualifying final. Big loss or risk if he is carrying a knee complaint..

This is quite brilliant really.
Firstly a huge congrats to Abe and the Mrs who apparently since their last game had a child and it has developed the young fella to be able to catch and kick in his fist week. Huge effort
My mail says the knee is so bad it will be amputated. I still expect him to play with a prosthetic though.
Haha the lead i to a GF is always fun. I’ll have a go as well…..Grima a. Native Taswegan will join the Tassie Devils crew in 2025

Maybe he was looking after Chloe Fletchers kid....A day at the footy with uncle Abe or whatever the relationship is. Definitely carrying a knee though.

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1
He looked to be walking across the oval before the game with Grima pretty comfortably to me. But, I was already on my 6th Hahn by then and was weighed down by the free stubby holders and West End caps. On those caps, did they remind anyone else of Glenn Bishop batting for the Redbacks in the 80s??vics01 wrote:Maybe he was looking after Chloe Fletchers kid....A day at the footy with uncle Abe or whatever the relationship is. Alright - The biggest game in football is this Saturday. Glenunga favourites but i don't think anyone could be too surprised if Ports unbelievable list catches fire and causes the upset to bring home their 2nd flag in 3 years.
Interested to hear everyone's tips except Chloe Fletchers
Glenunga by 16 points
BOG medal - Beau "TipRat" Schwarz to kick 3 and be the difference

I was searching the field last Saturday for someone to go with Davis
I dont think there is anyone with size, speed and stamina to slow him down or stop him. Someone needs to niggle him all day - he get frustrated easily.
Same problem as PAOC had last year although I think Davis spends more time in the forward line this year (correct me if I am wrong)
3 goals is not worthy of a Norm Smith - IMO every forward should have to kick that to be in the team (other than Wundke who was slaughtered by the umps last year)
Heff will be wanting to kick 7 goals to make up for 5 weeks off - on my calcs, he owes them 15 goals so he better get busy - he's definitely capable of 7
Lycett was amazing in ruck last week - it was almost as if PNU didn't have a ruckman. I haven't seen the stats but I reckon I saw PNU get less than 10 taps. He wont get that luxury this week.
All in all, its Glenunga's to lose - as it was last year
Heart says Districts by 7 / head says Glenunga by plenty
I'll be in the family corporate box if you want to drop in

Best teams usually win, so Glenunga by a slim margin.
Westy to touch Lycett up for the 4th time this season. Couple of midfielders back for the Rams, so Abe to play from the goal square and kick a bag.

It's a close one to call but Glenunga has wobbled before and that doubt must be there for them again....Districts have some proven finals performers which will stand them in good stead.....

A bit harsh, Bomber.stealthbomber wrote:It's a close one to call but Glenunga has wobbled before and that doubt must be there for them again....Districts have some proven finals performers which will stand them in good stead.....
Tough call to say they've wobbled before. Lost a Div 1 GF by a couple of goals last season. No-one really cares who comes second, but it's a bit early to be putting the Colli-wobbles on them yet.
