No surprise Mitch bowls a few short ones, gets the play and miss and then gets the wicket

Stick to being agressive Mitch it's what the Aussie public wants

Gets Kohli in the helmet first ball

Interesting seeing Clarke going up to Mitch after that ball

That has shaken Mitch up

No surprise Mitch doesn't follow the short one which hit Kohli with another short one

(Makes Johnson even more impressive given he has 270 wickets at that rate and also bowled pies for half his career haha)

Yeah just goes to show how effective Johnson has been when in form and bowling well after serving up some meat pies in the past. His bowling average at around 27 now looks alot better than when it was around the 30+ mark.

It will take time to get back to being comfortable with the short stuff again. Can't be rushed

Haven't been watching today but has Siddle looked threatening at all? A lucky Andrew Bichel is Siddle.

I reckon 40% of his balls were on the pads

Agree, with your Bichel comparison

I reckon if you were a psychologist this would be considered a text reaction to the Hughes tragedy by the Aussies

With the bat they looked inspired, emotional and batting with a care free attitude

In the field there is no aggression with the ball or fielders and they look tired and flat.

A couple of days in the field is the last thing our guys need, for there sake I hope they can jag a few wickets

whufc wrote:Something I have noticed over Siddles career

He is the worse first over bowler I have ever seen

Take note of Siddles first over of a spell, it's as if he doesn't warmup or he doesn't realise his going to bowl that over

So far this summer his

0/11 (1) in his first over of spells

Now 0/15 (2 overs)

think there is going to be alot of runs scored this series without a large number of wickets.

If India go in 3 down tonight at stumps unless something dramatic occurs reckon it would be odds on for a draw

Depends what attitude Johnson bowls with

Bowled 5-6 short balls today and nearly every single one caused trouble including being the direct downfall to a wicket

If Johnson bowls with his usual aggression we will clean these blokes up on the bouncy wickets
