I fectched Albert Camus' "The Plague" out of the bookshelf this morning. It seemed apropos to the current state of affairs.

And for music, I had a bizarre desire to hear Dire Straits - specifically Making Movies - and looked it up on Spotify. Don't reckon I've wanted to hear Dire Straits since the '80s. Amazing what a little pestilence can do to your tastes...

They're a Wierd Mob is so Sydney
Fantastic movie

Good to see, watched the first couple of episodes tonight. So far, seems up to snuff.

One liners, beer drinking, Aussie-isms...reminds me to pull out* a copy of Barry McKenzie.

Don’t have a copy of The Plague, but might have to re-read L’Stranger, or the Myth of Sysyphus.

Enjoy playing some of the good tunes from ‘Brothers in Arms’ every now and again. Takes me back to 1985.

Anyone else been watching this? I reckon it's the best season of all three, and IMO not many long-play dramas improve upon each season.

Sport package subscribers got all movies until June 30. To go with the existing self isolation bonus. Basically now have all channels until May 31 and movies for another month.

Best thing I did was get rid of it altogether. Biggest waste of money ever.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Each to their own. I couldn't find anything to watch last night, then I found a golf special on one of the sport channels - highlights of the 1986 Open Championship - watching Greg Norman salute!

Trivia Question - who was partnered with the Shark in that final round?

Good to hear, loved the first 2 seasons. Might crack into it on the weekend.

Ozark has been my favourite series on Netflix. Have watched the first three episodes of season 3. After waiting so long
for the new season have been a little disappointed so far. Been a slow build up. In saying that episode 4 looks like things are heating up.
After being in self quarantine for 13 days (1 to go can’t wait) I have managed to nearly finish Peaky Blinders.
Now my clear favourite show. Always something happening & keeping you on edge.

As soon as AFL finished up I had planned to give Foxtel the flick only had the basic sports package.
That same day I was going to cancel they added a few extra packages & today get movies happy days.
Will be binge watching new release movies until sports start up again!
Reckon they would have had a fair few subscribers cancel last week hence the free packages.

I had last week as a practice lockdown, the woman that I live seemed nice.

I dug out the PS2 to play a game called "at the races. Gallop Racer" It's like G1 jockey but better, you get more horses, you can breed them and bet on your races.
