Also, anyone know why CBC are in C4 and there is a bye in C3 instead of them?
I reckon CBC did the same last year where there C grade was in a different number grading than there A's and B's

We played them in C4 last year, wasn’t the same as this year.

Why speculate on a previous season when a quick check on PlayHQ tells you what happened last year. I’m only guessing but C3 would have been 10 teams and C4 8 teams with the issue for the league and clubs in C4 to deal with the double BYE or the fixturing nightmare of pairing up the 2 BYE’s which is easier said than done. So maybe some lateral thinking asking CBCOC to play in C4 noting their C grade finished 9th in C4 ladt year. It seems their home games marry up with their A & B grade so just the Away games they play elsewhere.

The Adelaide Equestrian Event is on in the city this weekend which blocks off CBC using their ground in the city, and Kenilworth are playing an away game this weekend.

What’s happened to Hope Valley this year. Got smashed by Henley. Won’t be the last but I thought they were pretty solid last year.

You haven’t been around long enough then! ;)

Our Outs from last year have been significant and the ins we have this year haven’t quite covered them. Doesn’t help when quite a few of those ins aren’t playing currently

On another note, I can’t believe that dangerous tackle in the B grade was only given a yellow card. And even that was reluctant and only after the umpire noticed the HV player wasn’t getting up. Now a young kid will miss 3 weeks with concussion while the player who did it only misses 10mins. Was a red card all day every day. Very poor umpiring. They umpired the game well, but let themselves down with that one..

Henley waaaaay too good across all 3 x grades today and we have some soul searching to do

Is Mitch still coaching. Heard there were a few issues last year.
FTR I still think Mins is the best player in Div 3. Love how he goes about his footy

This is the team list from our last game in 2023. Everyone marked green is gone - and one on the injury list.

I just hope that the boys can start to gel in the coming weeks

Could spell the end of Men’s night matches regardless of opponents and location. The old saying nothing good happens after 2am can easily be translated to nothing good happens after 9pm when it comes to night footy. Having said that - front page headlines is a bit over the top for a player grabbing a spectator with the incident lasting all of 2 or 3 seconds. Definitely not a good look but the Adelaide Now click bait desperation of trying to stay relevant to the younger generation is becoming annoying.

Players don't go off like that for no reason. (Not condoning that he actually did it though)

I'd be asking protagonist for a please explain as well, i wonder if it was the same peanut that was carrying on from the sidelines at our game last week.

In other news, if our ruckman Mabil doesn't get GOTW this week, I'll go hee.

Also, hooray! we're on a 2-game winning streak!

You're actually not the only one to mention this, but it wasn't picked up so we're taking it

Im using the excuse that we have a small square and he has long legs, so it makes it look like he's run further

Any predictions on the penalty to come out of the Friday Fight Night incident?

BedgeBet has 5 + 3 suspended.
