It was a bit unfortunate when there was a split from this site a couple years ago because some good posters and some good content, such as the journal page whatever it was called, went.

You wouldn't believe how much easier this site is to run since some of them left, the place is so much friendlier these days.

Yeah, guess most of us don't see that side of it Wedgie. Do remember it getting a bit antsy in the politics threads.

Wasn't the running sheet JK, was a subheading with longer, more indpeth football stories moreso than discussion such as how you came to barrack for your club.

Ironically, I think the same poster was responsible for both.

Came over from FootySA ... I'll admit that I was a bit of a troll in the early years, particularly toward Sturt Fans. I like to think I have mellowed significantly since then 8)

Ah, the 'running sheet' ... that takes me back.
Caught a glimpse of that famous piece of paper @ AO in front of The Bradman Stand @ a Double Header Final (1st & 2nd Semi, I think).

It was hilarious how that thread just 'kept on giving'

Think of the positives, at least that way the spell check can't get you into trouble.

Stumbled across it on my random half cut internet sessions way back when. Signed up then discovered that anyone with a hotmail email address had to send an email to wedgie to confirm you were a real person. Mine went something like "I may be a Sturt supporter but I'm a real person."

While I don't post often anymore I do check in fairly regularly

I remember those days.
Some good natured banter going on.

Poor old Footy Chick was working full time moderating the ammos thread back then.

She did a great job as well.

Was a immature troll in the early days, had to pull my head in after one of my posts was put on wall before a Grand Final! Cant even remember what that was about now!! but I have been an avid reader of threads of interest for years, even if i dont post much.

Made a few good real life friends on here too, Footy Chick (Birthday buddy) and Dogwatcher are good mates.
