Hope Valley very good today, some good recruits as well.. thought we were scratchy early but did enough to stay in the fight during the first half, unfortunately though the Dees flexed hard in the 2nd half and blew us away.
Does your arse feel better after I dug my elbow into it?
Could’ve gone a bit deeper

Serious question, who was the guy who kicked goal of the year yesterday? Definite contender..
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit

Did jag one from deep out of his ar5e?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
Absolute beltings across the board this weekend - no game less than 50pts.
Off week for sides, or indication of the gap between sides?
Biggest surprise on the weekend was probably SMOSH doing a serious number on Morphy Park.. and then Mitcham thumping Gepps Cross who beat Hope Valley last week.
Round 3 Walkerville v Pembroke OS - This is the match of the round for me.. two favorites going head to head, the only two unbeaten sides remaining. Plenty to like about the Cats early - clinical in their matches.
Woodville South v SMOSH - Well it's only Round 3, but another heavy loss here and the Cats season would already be hanging by a thread given their very poor percentage, and still to play sides who are expected to be around the mark.
Morphy Park v Hope Valley - Another cracker between two sides expected to contest. Liked what I saw from the Demons in the 2nd half Saturday though, and tick a lot of boxes around the ground.
Gepps Cross v Kilburn - The local derby, one has to wonder if the Clark-Rantassa boys will step up to the 1's - they'd certainly help.. Chic's need to lift and kick start their season, and i think they will.
Pulteney v Mitcham - A good win followed by a bad loss for the Blues, it's vice versa for the Hawks. Mitcham pumped Pulteney last year.. Blues desperately need some key players back.

I like the song, and until that article never had any idea around the history of the tune.. but still I like it, and in no way do i feel any sort of connection or relation to the original song or its racist tones.
The lyrics themselves to the song have been changed over the years also, i doubt there would be many alive that would connect it to the original.
Plenty of songs over the years have used the same or similar tunes or beats.. to me it's the lyrics that make em original.
Play on, nothing to see here.

D4R Ladder 6 - Pembroke OS 6 - SMOSH West Lakes 6 - Gepps Cross 4 - Mitcham 2 - Walkerville ---------------------- 2 - Pulteney 2 - Hope Valley 2 - Morphettville Park 0 - Woodville South 0 - Kilburn
Bloody tough competition.. 3 games in and all our games have been decided by less than 2 goals. Credit to Mitcham Saturday, did well to work back into the game and ultimately win - we should've put them to the sword, and certainly choked up a win.. but where we were poor, they were good.
Hard to get a read on Morphy Pk at the moment - started with a huge win, then a big loss, then a close loss to Hope Valley.
Pembroke v Gepps Cross will be a beauty this weekend, Gepps looking the real deal early on and the Kings picking up where they left off in 2020.

Ladder after Round 4 8 - Walkerville 6 - Pembroke OS 6 - Morphettville Park 4 - Hope Valley 4 - Pulteney -------------------- 4 - Mitcham 4 - Gepps Cross 2 - SMOSH West Lakes 2 - Woodville South 0 - Kilburn
Round 5 Morphettville Park vs Kilburn Pulteney vs Pembroke OS Gepps Cross vs Walkerville SMOSH West Lakes vs Mitcham Woodville South vs Hope Valley
Only a month into the season but already every week is proving critical to the make up of the season. Kilburn the only side that appears well off the pace, Woodville South with an unsettled season off field scored a great win the other week, will be hoping to replicate that more often with the new coaching group.
SMOSH who were my pre-season favorite find themselves in an important match this week against Mitcham or risk falling 2 games off the pace, with a lot of work to do.
Pulteney have their work cut out against Pembroke, whilst Gepps Cross hosting Walkerville at home appears the match of the round.. a Rams win here would really set the cat among the pigeons!
The top 3 have a chance to start pulling away heading towards the back 9, whilst the bottom 3 could fall behind the pack approaching the colder months.

Hopefully the Lions can rise to the occasion for Past Players day. Must admit I haven't been following the Ammo's closely this season, but their season starts to look pretty tricky if they drop this one.
