Don't let this distract from the fact that Smithies have begun announcing their signings... most interesting one being Michael Friel - hope he behaves himself
Cook, Ashby, Webber, Gray.. beginning to look like they're putting the old band back together.

Friely is a very good footballer but he continues to let himself down by just losing the plot and not just the once, several times now. I hope for both his and Smithfield's sake his brain fade actions are kept under control. Serious ramifications for both if he doesn't!
Never thought I’d see the day a Farmer took to the collegiate’s. Especially one who has been super critical of said club. Hahaha, seriously tho well done to both parties, Pulteney’s A’s have just become a better team. Good luck champ.
The great man "THE BEDGE" could be the most important signing of any in this offseason. Is opposition knowledge and analytical perception of the game might very well be the difference in 2019. He has an astute football brain and no doubt will make his new club a better place. I look forward to seeing his success in not just the B grade but also his influence in the A grade. What a fantastic appointment. Congrats
Congratulations to Bedge and Pulteney on a fantastic appointment. Having worked closely with the man for the last 4 years I can say that his knowledge and dedication will be a great addition to his new club. He puts in more homework than most A grade coaches and will add value both on and off the field. Well done and all the best for the future.

Very true, well done Bedge. I'm sure the BBQ will improve, we will all be interested to see how well.

Didn't Bedge pick B Walsh from kenilworth to Run of the bench and onto a wing in the B grade TOTY on last years forum? B Walsh = Slow loping Ruckman, does not resemble a wingman at all. Maybe his homework was eaten by the dog!

Speaking with a couple of Smithfield lads Saturday night and there is a couple of pretty big signings to come too! Great to see big Niz on the front foot in his first year as president.

Yeah mate, they're doing all the right things from the top down, President, Director, Coach and now the recruiting drive.
Don’t worry about Smithfield, Valleys will be the team to beat. Sandery has squeezed open the safe and TTG, Freeling and maybe Barossa District are going to feel the effects (as will all of us in D5)

Word is Josh Hand one of a few lined up..
Also heard Salisbury had numbers close to 50 at training..

Josh Hand in D5?
He'd be on track for 45+ votes in the medal
So it's ok for Timmy Sumner and other former AFL players to run around in D5 but not Josh Hand.
