Yeah I think if the ball hits it right I think it's going to go through any gap

Correct. Players would check this, but as Heater notes, not with a aggart going at 130 clicks.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

India are embarrassingly bad away from their home turf
England the series 3-1 after steamrolling them for less than 250 over two innings.
I listened the Gavaskar being interviewed after the match. He was very critical of the Indians. No fight and looked like they didn't want to be there.

Saw Ali bowl a bit against Sri Lanka. Looked ok but nothing too threatening. Maybe a bit like maxwell or something. Something must have changed

India are as weak as piss, at international level Indian batsman should be able to handle a part time spinner without an issue really. Ali is pedestrian and he made India look like a bunch of D graders.

Re: Other International Cricket
Hughes cracked a other double ton against South Africa A and now has a call up to the odi squad in place of Watson who has injured his ankle stepping on a ball. Really hope he cements his place.

Windies have withdrawn from their tour of India.
Apparantly the West Indies cricket board agreed to a new wage structure without running it by the players so the players have pulled the pin

Sadly, I agree.
Wonder if we will see more re-locate to England or Australia or if they will just be happy to play the mickey mouse stuff

Re: Other International Cricket
Cricket in the Carribbean just doesn't generate the money. Kids are gravitating towards the big money sports and cricket is getting left for dead. Probably boils down to the fact that it isn't one nation competing. Too many people with their own interests making it impossible to truly work effectively.
On a positive note, I read that SL identified dozens of kids with suspect actions to sort them out before they get anywhere near the top level. Brilliant step and one that should have been happening 25 years ago. A lot of careers with shadows on them in the meantime because the ICC were too inept to take a stand but really heartening to see this issue being treated seriously at long last.

Shezhad out for 176 after copping a bouncer to his scone and dropping his bat onto the stumps, was then helped from the field
