Not sure why the government wouldn’t assist here if funds are an issue?

Funny how the Adelaide GP was canned by the libs as well.

Always voted one of the best supercar events, and the teams loved competing here.

The liberal party wowsers just hate Motorsport.
Can't help but think the eastern suburbs tossers have finally got their way.

Terrible decision, already a number of drivers are venting their anguish on social media sites and rightly so.

The COVID-19 excuse has worn thin, obviously by using that as a partial excuse this time it means the Govt will have to cancel all the other mad March events (bet they dont though)

Reckon Lucas was the treasurer when the GP got axed from memory,

I agree with Tigerpie, they obviously dont like motor sport, well in the confines of the metro area

Quite interesting to see what in future.
Liberals in 99, did everything to stop horse racing in Victoria Park and even had a govenment group RIDA(racing industry development authority) as part of their goals support
1) stop horse racing vic park
2) promote what is now the TDU type of events
3) promote V8s

It just has Shahin written all over it for mine. No city race means the diehards have to go to Tailem.
I'm sure there's a deal or brown paper bag. I think Marshall drinks at CIBO on parade....
