add in a one day comp played in other states
great planning by all involved
I couldn't believe it when Ben Hook I think it was said the Redbacks last 3 home games are all being played at Glenelg.
We also pick up an extra home game. The Vics will be playing at 'Home' in Glenelg in March for the return fixture. They apparently have no other first class standard venue in Melbourne or the whole of Victoria
That's very odd. I think the Vics used to play SS games at Junction Oval when the MCG wasn't available so that must be unavailable too.
Junction Oval not up to standard. Poor planning by Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia sees them nearly play all of their home games outside the state.
What's wrong with Punt Rd?
The football club kicked the cricket club out. Guessing they have ripped out the square as well.

Twitter update. SA finished on 4/359 K.Smith out for136. Jake Lehmann 70*

But do you think his selection chances could be hurt by the fact alot of his big scores have come on the King William Road or could having Lehmann as coach who is the authority on this situation be a good or bad thing for 'our boy ferg'
Bzzzzz
7 of his 11 tons have been away from Adelaide Oval...
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....
i really rate the live streaming of the cricket. But geez Botha is a cock.
Last match he appealed for an LBW, got turned down. Next ball gets played back to him and he throws hard back to the keeper, misses the target and batsman gets two.
Just then, hussey plays for an easy 2. gets thrown back to Botha, takes the ball a step away from the stumps. swipes at the bails, misses, so does it again and takes a bail off. And Bothas teammate walks up to put the bail back on.
He's a w@nker alright with a super dodgy action, average bowler and average batsman. But he's a great competitor and one of the most astute recruits for a long time. Captaincy seems to agree with him and it means guys like Ferguson, Cooper etc who might otherwise have pressure on them to skipper can just worry about doing their jobs.
That being said, seems Adelaide Oval is going to be a big dent in our aspirations again. 260 overs, 13 wickets for the game so far. The bonus point system is certainly a great idea but needs tweaking still. To get bonus points for 5 wickets in 100 overs is stupid. Wickets are always their own reward and to set the bar that low seems odd. Make it .02 bonus batting points in the first 50 overs of each first innings only. But first and foremost let's get our own decks right so we can play for outright points every time we play well.

SA 8/431 VI 1/201 = 9/632
Rogers 103* Stoinis 37*
Spinners might do some damage later in the game Otherwise we will need some creative declarations to set up a run chase on day 4 Looks like VI will be chasing 320-340 on day 4
This is precisely why I am a well respected astute and knowledgeable poster of cricket My prediction was VI would be chasing 320-340 on day 4
