Listening to World Cup commentary has been quite refreshing. It really does reinforce how much of a Boy's Club Nine's commentary team has become. It also reinforces why any more than two commentators on at the same time is overkill.

In the Adelaide Test after a high-profile funeral, Steve Smith produced a moment of poetry, walking halfway to the boundary during his century celebration to salute the 408 painted large on the Oval turf. That footage will be forever twinned with Nine’s soundtrack, as Brayshaw mustered “I think he might be walking over to the number here to recognise Phillip Hughes and that’s… terrific stuff.”

I am happy for the same amount of teams to be included, what they need to cut is the length of the tournament. No more than 4 or 5 day breaks are required and the whole thing can be wrapped up inside a month.

Teams can play every 3-4 days. Should be atleast 2 games per day.
Cant believe tomorrow being a Friday and there is 1 game on, just beggars belief
