The SANFL won't let a crowd figure of less than 1000 be released

Especially at Noarlunga where crowds are harder to judge with having the cars there

Pleasing to see Redigolo back, after missing 2014 with a knee reco. Was one of our better players in 2013. Also encouraging to see a youngster from our zone promoted in Ross.

No Bollenhagen for the Ravens. Would have liked to see him play, given he walked out on South in the early stages of 2012 and was very vocal in his criticism of the club when Ronnie was sacked.

Complacency a factor this week I feel, but given our woeful record against the AFL sides we shouldn't be taking anything for granted. Ravens will have 11-12 AFL listed players. Which player(s) will be told to hit the showers half way through the third term this week?

Bollenhagen pulled a hammy whilst playing for Renmark last Sunday. 2 games in a weekend might have been too much

The blokes who are playing two games in a weekend would be on a potentially nice little earner for that week

Gee that's professional for a League club, have blokes play Country footy the next day. Further proof this is a bloody farce having them in our comp.

Any truth to the rumour that tonight's game will be named the Hartigan Cup?

Whilst not in the best a handy debut game for Michael Ross. 20 touches to go with a false start on your league career......

Huge momentum swings in this one. South kicked the first 5 and looked on track for a 10 goal win, and really should have been further infront at 1/4 time. Perhaps the players thought the same, as they dropped off and when Grigg goaled half way through the 3rd term the Ravens were 8 or 9 up, the game being played almost entirely in their half. Enter Joel Cross, the champ booting 3 goals in 5 minutes against the tide to hand the momentum back to South on 3/4 time. A great smother and goal to Liddle extended the lead to 3 goals early in the last, and from there South hung on to record an important, yet unconvincing win.

Thought the best players named by the club were spot on, with Cross and Liddle again standouts, while as heater mentioned debutant Ross was lively in his debut.

Awful attendance as expected.

Nice to record a long-overdue win against the interlopers.

Any estimate of the crowd?
3000 plus the South supporters I'm assuming?

Cross was outstanding.

Stood up to the plate when needed. We need more like him.

He saved that game for us. Time for others to take the lead as he can not do it week in , week out.

Good to have our first win against the Adelaide Reserves.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Would have been lucky to have more than two hundred in total about 1/2 hour before the game. About a thousand during the game (No doubt the SANFL will say a lot more). South looked good when they took the game on an pressured the Crows. When they stayed off they looked pretty ordinary. Cross and Liddle the obvious standouts with Bass and Crabb standing up well in the last quarter.

Heard one crows supporter say how boring the b grade is....

There was more applause on the ground than off it each time the Crows kicked a goal. Be lucky if they had a dozen supporters there.

Coaching staff and statisticians would have outnumbered them

Actually you owe me for the win.
As usual, couldn't sleep so decided to listen on line to the game. Adelaide Reserves were winning when I tuned in but instantly Cross banged in 3 to wrestle the game back for South and that was that. I saw the the game out for you to make sure nothing untoward happened. :) ;)

Good kid Rosco! Quite the athlete too - former SA underage Rugby League state captain as well.
