What's your clubs awards?

Post by Lightning McQueen »

I've been out of the loop for a few years and was wondering what's the going rate for players that get in their club's best players on a Saturday evening?

our emphasis this year was on putting money into awards rather than player payments..
BOG gets $200, 2nd gets $100 and 3rd gets $50 etc etc..

I reckon the only way that I prospered financially from winning best player awards was when I won the mug award, it seemed to be the only times I woke up Sunday with money in my pocket or on my bedside table.

If those awards fall under the salary cap, then there's no issue.

Club or grade? Little unbalanced if club, we have 4 grades, others have 5 or more. $250 is well over what say the C and D grade would get in total - probably currently around $125ish - and all in vouchers from sponsors.

Awards per week can be any total as long as it and other payments fall under the weekly cap.

The way i see it if a club pays players then best player awards can used for sponsers and club vouchers but if the club doesnt pay then they can raise the awards up so you are rewarding the blokes playing good footy.
