Farmers certainly went hard at Phillips, but him taking the SMOSH job may prove to be a blessing in disguise - at least now they have a young, energetic coach who may be able to bring some players and bring some more modern concepts and plans. The challenge will be if he's a player/coach how we will manage that.
The B grade coach - well if they retain the majority of players, he's probably just about got himself a squad primed ready for a premiership - you're welcome.
Hasn't Phillips coached at Virginia more recently than the above?

My memory may be a little hazy, but reckon he was sacked mid season of 2013 from the Rams, and then signed with Kilburn and walked out pre-season 2014.

I'll be playing Saturday Winter Bowls (3-Bowls Triples) for the mighty Clearview Bowling & Community Club

Is it still socially acceptable to have a butcher glass in hand whilst playing?
I thought it was mandatory to have a pint glass whilst bowling.
Well I do
Maybe i'm getting old, but not much more enjoyable than Night Owls during summer - $6 for a couple hours of relaxing bowls, sipping $5 pints, enjoying the warmer evenings, then supper and hopefully winning the meat tray.

Shit got hectic when I was playing that Croydon a few years ago.

Aren't PA looking at a bid to join the AFLW comp in 2020 though?
The PA womens have been up and running for a few years, they don't have anything to do with the mens PAFC.
Central Districts used to have a women's football team but were based at Argana Park and sort of ran under the Elizabeth Football Club banner to some degree, they disbandoned as neither club were interested in keeping them and they found a new home at Angle Vale, their guernsey still has CDWFC up the top of the back.
Now that women's football has gained momentum, I'm sure Port would love to set it up at their own club without adopting someone else's mess or set up.
At a guess from my shoddy memory, West Adelaide were the only women's team from a league club that actually played at their league ground.
Fitzroy are the former West Adelaide, who were the former Edwardstown Eagles, who were the former Woodville/ West Torrens Eagles

Sanity prevails. Not your bullshit about a ready made B grade premiership side either you stupid Bedge Head.

Hence the word "were", thanks for the history lesson though, I thought WWT had a team previously, it all makes sense now.
Going form Richmond Oval to Mt. Fitzroy is fair drop.

Will only be an issue 1 out of every 3-4 games anyway

I call BS as I believe you have been approached to coach and you cannot refuse 2 x Fat Boy Specials every home game
will be interesting as he left the club half way through the year in 2016 after being the fitness coach. A lot of the current players were there at the time so will need to build those relationships up. Very strange choice by the club.
