Some big races tomorrow

Osborne Bulls, Sunlight, Redzel, or Trapeze Artist?
Fifty Stars, Hartnell, Alizee, Brutal or Dixie Blossoms?

I'm sticking with my black books - Noble Boy, Osborne Bulls and will go with a small win but big place bet on Dixie Blossoms at $16/$5 (which I did last start)

Santa Ana Lane
But will have to see how that track is playing and how chopped up it gets.

I'm STUFFED if I can catch Osborne Bulls or Redzel. I've got the syndicate bet so I'll be doing a quaddie and going F/F/F/F and hoping for a roughie or four :-)

I’m the same with Redzel, great day of racing ahead, not confident the pocket will feel the same way

Anyone else getting crap bet boosts on Sportsbet? Three examples I have had this morning

$7 - $7.20
$12 - $12.50
$22 -$23.50

Trapeze Artist (one of my favs) $4.20 to $4.40.

Not even worth using the boost

Yeah, I still get better boosts via Ladbrokes. I'm not a good punter by any stretch but Sportsbet's "powered" bets aren't anywhere near those of Ladbrokes, until I get banned!

What I have worked out is the best way to use Ladbrokes odds boosts on exotics is to put on First 4s for 1 per cent (say a wide F4 has anywhere between 300-800 combos) and boost it to 2 per cent. Therefore you potentially DOUBLE your returns from the stake.

For example, I jagged 2 per cent (1 per cent boosted to 2 per cent) of a F4 at Sydney for $3 on Wednesday. Returned $250.

Maybe I've got that theory wrong. But I seems to work well for me.

I generally only use it on horses over $20 to get better value. Collected decently on the boost last 3 weeks so maybe I get less value now?

Yep my SB boosts have been dramatically trimmed now, maybe Sirens Fury did it last week?

Ended up boosting for $26 to $29 today

Simple answer, no.

The boy is still learning, there were other horses in the race that have far more experience and have ran in higher grades.

He'll be better for the run, his first trip over the 1300 too, it was a $100K race so it was always going to be a very competitive race, even a place would've been a nice return though.
